BIOGRAPHY OF GREGORY G. WOYCIK

Mr. Woycik is currently President of Woycik Metallurgical Consulting, L.L.C., specializing i aluminum casting technology and failure analysis.  He spent the last 17 years in the aluminum casting business with Kelsey Hayes, CMI International and Hayes Lemmerz.  Thirteen of the last 17 years found Mr. Woycik at the Ferndale Tech Center of the former CMI International and most recently, Hayes Lemmerz, Intl.  During his tenure at CMI and HLI, he held multiple supervisory and managerial positions in the Research & Development Group, including Manager Materials Development and Technology Evaluation Lab Operations Manager.  Mr. Woycik was also the USCAR project liaison for HLI on the Structural Cast Magnesium Development Project where he had oversight of the development of a low pressure magnesium engine cradle for GM.

Mr. Woycik served as the Publicity Chairman for the 2003 Midwest Regional held in Windsor and has been an AFS member for 13 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in metallurgical engineering from Michigan Technological University.  Greg lives on a small farm in Lapeer, MI with his wife of nine years, twin daughters and son, where he takes advantage of the outdoors, hunting, boating and golfing when time permits.
